Heroes, Gods and monsters clash in an ensemble driven, small-scale epic, drawn from the ancient Mesopotamian legend of Gilgamesh and Enkindu.
A papery world of scrolls and desert kingdoms is populated by storyteller-musicians, who explore contrasting attitudes in how history is recorded, the hierarchical power of Gods and representing masculinity, both ancient and modern. Drums and guitars serve the supernatural, mortals are born and destroyed at the whim of scribes, and rock ballads twist perspectives on what is evil, and what is honest.
